A website editor is appearing in the High Court in Auckland for allegedly attacking senior judges on his sites.

Vince Siemer was arrested at Auckland Airport this morning upon his return from America.

A judgement issued on Monday said Siemer was in contempt of court for defamatory comments about several High Court Judges on two websites.

The comments stem from Siemer’s long-running campaign against the MetroWater Chairman, Michael Stiassny.

Too many Judges think they are above the law, should come down to earth.
More like, the guy was exercising right of free speech. Contempt of court?
The courts here have very little concept of justice. Punks rack up thousands of dollars in fines, have no intention of paying them. Then let off huge amounts of their fines. Where do you complain about judges? No where!
Whats next, giving judges a verbial and hanging you for it!
Punks leaving the courts are laughing all the way to the boozer.
there is no denial, for there being a lot of room for improvement in NZ Courts system.
