“I want my kids back someday”.

Through this time, I have met some real idiots who do not deserve to be called ‘public servants’ and some really good people who have tried to help me, a lot.

My children’s father seems to be one of the biggest problems, every time I had to ring the Police to escort him off the property, or even have him arrested on the Breach of Protection Order charges, CYFS would get two notifications. One would be from the Police, notifying them they answered a call out for domestic violence in which children were present, and more often than not, one from my ex partner, who just used CYFS to help him breach the protection order.

The way I saw things, he was using CYFS to hound me. CYFS have only just realised that each time my ex would go in to make up an allegation, a few hours later the Police would also be in touch…..

I have had a few social workers over the years though, who have bent over backwards to try and help me. They have had the fore sight to see my ex for what he truly is, but it is too late for me at the moment, as my children are currently in CYFS custody, and even though some may not understand, it was sheer desperation that led me to agree totally for this to happen.

So that this case is not recognised, yet, I will not name any of the social workers I have had, I want my kids back one day. To all of you who have suffered at the hands of CYFS, you can by pass the regional offices and all that, dial 0508 FAMILY and ask to be put straight through to the Ministry, and I only learnt that today from a CYFS FGC Co-ordinator, who was a lovely woman.

Not all of them are so nice, I know that much.

Keep up the good work on the site, it’s about time the children had voices.
