1. Please cut out the full page ads in the newspapers today and get signatures today and tomorrow

NZ Herald – page A13
Dominion Post -page A11
Christchurch Press – page B4
Otago Daily Times – page 5 (section 1)

2. March tomorrow (Wednesday)

If there’s no march in your area , march around your workplace, neighbourhood, social and sports groups, and collect signatures!! (You’ll be surprised how easy it is!)

Additional Petition forms http://www.familyfirst.org.nz/index.cfm/sign_the_petitions.html

3. Email your MP’s

The Anti-Smacking Lobby have increased their efforts.

Please email MP’s and ask them to represent the NZ public on this issue .

Email addresses are at www.voters.co.nz or http://www.familyfirst.org.nz/files/MP%20Address%20List.xls

Specific MP’s to target (especially Labour MP’s who need to demand a Conscience Vote from their party) http://www.familyfirst.org.nz/files/MPs%20to%20target%20re%20smacking.xls

4. Ring Talkback

Newstalk ZB 0800 80 10 80
Radio Live 0800 724 365

Make it the most talked about topic. Tell listeners where they can find the ads. Tell them about the marches. Express (in a polite way) your viewpoint.

Thanks for speaking up.
