Sue Bradford threatened over “anti-smacking” bill

An internet site has published a direct and very graphic threat aimed at Green MP Sue Bradford.

The threat is in protest of the Green Party’s so-called “anti-smacking” bill, which has been the subject of much controversy as it headed towards its second reading in Parliament today.

The diplomatic police say they are looking into the situation, but they are not yet sure whether a crime has been committed.

The Green Party bill aims to stop parents from hitting children to discipline them, except where it could prevent harm, stop them hurting others or end offensive behaviour.
