Anti-CYFS Site Re-launched (AKA: Hey, Sue Bradford: Bite me).
Tuesday, 13.03.2007, 06:33am (GMT12)

A website targeting government social workers that was shut by Google about three weeks ago has been relaunched.

The anonymous authors of the site, called CYFS-watch, say they have posted new material with details of 127 Child, Youth and Family social workers.

The website also targets the chief executive of the Ministry of Social Development.

Google recently stepped in when a comment on the site suggested that Green Party MP Sue Bradford was a good candidate for New Zealand’s first political assassination.

The new website is not hosted by Google.

Canterbury University Associate Professor Ursula Cheer says she is not suprised the website is running again. She says there is nothing to stop people setting up internet sites, despite material that may be defamatory.

Ms Bradford says she is disappointed the website is operating again and says it is not fair to name social workers, who, she says, have a hard enough job as it is.
